The indoor facilities at the Prairie Rose are perfect for your special events - everything from small luncheons to large corporate meetings.
Standing like the grand dame over the property is the Prairie Rose Opera House, boasting over 3,500 square feet of cowboy decor. With seating for 330, the meeting hall has everything needed for any special occasion or gathering. The new sound system and presentation capabilities will help make any event successful.
Sidle to the north a little and you’ll find yourself at the Hopalong Cassidy Room. Set banquet-style with round tables, the Hopalong Cassidy Room comfortably accommodates 200. Complete with a built in dance floor and buffet area, it’s perfect for that banquet, reception or corporate gathering.
Next door to the Cassidy Room, the attached Bar 20 Theatre will seat up to 150 theater style. Full classroom/meeting capabilities include a stage with podium, projection screen and projector, as well as sound and video equipment. The Bar 20 Theatre is equipped for wireless internet access.
Saunter down the boardwalk a little ways to the Happy Trails Theater. Perfect for small groups of 50 or less, this building has full audio/visual capabilities as well as internet accessibility, a big screen TV, stage and small kitchenette.
If outdoors is where you want to be, you don't have to go far. Travel down the path a ways and find that the Prairie rose has much more to offer.
The Open Air Chapel at the Prairie Rose sits up the hill from the Opera House and overlooks the grounds. The Chapel is equipped with lighting and electricity, as well as a sound system.
A sidewalk leads from the Opera House to Chapel, and with the addition of a new bridge over the creek, is fully wheelchair-accessible.
Between the Opera House and a small pond sits the Gazebo. The Opera House Gazebo has a concrete floor, and is equipped with electricity. A sound system is available if needed.
Brides are welcome to wait in the Opera House Mercantile before walking down the wide sidewalk that leads from the Opera House to Gazebo.
The Prairie Rose Hideout, the original chuckwagon supper location, is surrounded by hundred year old trees strung with lights and the soft sound of the nearby Whitewater Creek. Complete with a small stage, picnic tables and a fire pit, this is a perfect setting for reunions, parties and gatherings of all kinds.
Adjoining the Hideout, the recreation grounds offer softball, volleyball, and horse shoes. The recreation grounds can also be set up to accommodate skeet shooting, archery and many other outdoor activities.
The "Wagons Ho" RV Park offers a night out on the open prairie in style. Located right at the Prairie Rose Ranch, the Wagons Ho RV Park was designed for Class A motor homes and travel trailers and offers graveled and lighted pull through spaces, where 30 amp services are available. Fresh water and dump stations are on site.
You will find our RV facilities are well designed to accommodate the overnight traveler as well as large motor home conventions.
Our facilities are also gated for security and very private. Overnight horse boarding is also available.
